Description

Warm, buttery sourdough bread filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sourdough boule
  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the sourdough boule on a cutting board and make grid-like cuts through the top.
  3. Slice the brie cheese into small pieces, and tuck them into the cuts of the bread.
  4. Spoon the cranberry sauce into the slits between the cheese and bread.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top, sprinkling with thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  6. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it in the oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the foil, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy pulling apart each piece with gooey cheese and cranberry.

Notes

Consider making this ahead by storing the stuffed bread in the fridge before baking. Experiment with different cheeses and toppings for variety.
